Here is a mashup I made today of Funkadelic’s “One Nation Under a Groove” (via Hud) with Obama’s Victory Speech, Martin Luther King Jr.’s “I have a Dream Speech” and James Brown on the Scream Machine. Enjoy!

Fight Test and Son
In old news, Wayne Coyne of the Flaming Lips completely ripped off Cat Stevens when he ‘wrote’ ‘Fight Test’, the first track on Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots. Cat Stevens eventually sued the Flaming Lips and is receiving half of the royalties for the song, according to wikipedia.
So I felt the need to combine both ‘Father and Son’ and ‘Fight Test’ into one song, just to hear how similar they are. Thanks to Pro Tools and the new Elastic time feature, it was pretty easy. ‘Fight Test’ is in A and ‘Father and Son’ is in the key of G, so it made sense to transpose them both Ab just to keep them as close to the original as possible.
